NOW LET’S FIGHT FOR THEM
It’s a sad statistic but almost 5000 veteran women are homeless at any given time in this country, and that number
continues to increase everyday. It is estimated that close to 200 of this total reside in the Saint Louis metropolitan area
and are currently seeking food, employment, and shelter. In an attempt to provide relief for some of these brave
women who have defended our country but now find themselves without a place to live, Veteran Women of Influence
was founded.
Located in the Central West End, Veteran Women of Influence provides transitional housing for 5 women veterans at a
time; aiding them in getting back on their feet and their lives back on track through counseling, mentoring, and career
coaching, while providing information on government assistance, financial help, and individual and family resources.
